The BWI-affiliated Federation of Indonesia Workers’ Awakening (FKUI) held its 7th Congress from 23 to 26 of November. Previously known as the Federation of Construction, Informal and General Workers (FKUI-SBSI), the federation’s Congress changed its name to reflect its new mandate to organise workers of all types from different sectors and new membership from individual workers to trade unions.
