BWI and EFBWW release 2021 joint report, celebrate stronger ties

The Building and Woodworkers’ International (BWI) and the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW) released a joint activity report on the campaigns and actions that they have collectively undertaken since 2020 and continued this year. 

BWI General Secretary Ambet Yuson and EFBWW General Secretary Tom Deleu said that their organisations are proud to have significantly moved forward in building stronger relationships through joint policy initiatives and direct actions on the ground. 

“Together, we became stronger, protecting migrant workers in the European Union and in the pan-European region, campaigning for gender equality, building networks within multinational corporations and promoting occupational health and safety as a fundamental workers’ right. The spirit of solidarity is the key element of our joint actions,” they said.
