Ghana: BWI OHS Brigade members push for national law on OHS

 

BWI, in its continuing effort to make workplaces safer in Ghana, held a three-day (3), face-to-face Brigadiers Training on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) last 8-10 November to build the capacity of its trade union affiliates in the country to address health and safety issues.

The Branch Trade Union of Forestry and Woodworking Workers of Serbia and the United Trade Union Organization of Vojvodinaforest, Petrovaradin on 21 September won a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) covering 1,450 workers employed in “Vojvodinašume” (Vojvodinaforest), a public company which holds an FSC FM/COC certificate.
